• Step 1: enquire - share your date, location, quantity, and the type of gifts you would like wrapped. If you have images or dimensions, include them.
• Step 2: recommendations and quotation - I will recommend an approach, including cloth size and wrapping style, and provide a quotation based on quantity, complexity, and logistics.
• Step 3: confirm details - we confirm the schedule, delivery or on-site requirements.
• Step 4: wrapping and delivery - wrapping can be completed in advance, or on site, where appropriate. Collection and delivery can be arranged.

I am based in London. Travel within London can be arranged. For locations outside London, please enquire with your venue address and timings.

 

lead time and minimums

Lead times depend on quantity and complexity. For small commissions, allow at least two to three weeks where possible. For corporate or event commissions, earlier planning is recommended.

If your timing is short, please still enquire. I will confirm availability promptly.

Each commission is quoted individually based on quantity, wrapping style, cloth size, whether Furoshiki is supplied, and delivery or on-site requirements.

Yes. I provide Japanese Furoshiki gift wrapping in London for private gifting, weddings, events, and corporate commissions. Please enquire with your date, location, and quantity.

Can you wrap corporate gifts at scale? 

Yes. Corporate gifting is welcome. I can propose a consistent wrap style across sets and advise on cloth sizes and materials to suit the gift items and the brand tone.

Do you supply the Furoshiki cloth?

Yes, on request. You may provide your own cloths, or I can supply Furoshiki from my collection. I can advise on suitable sizes once I know what you are wrapping.

Can recipients keep the Furoshiki?

Yes. Furoshiki is designed for reuse. Many clients choose to include the cloth as part of the gift, so the wrapping becomes a second gift.

Do you source gifts as well as wrap them?

Gift sourcing can be arranged on request. If you share your budget, recipient profile, and timeline, I can propose options and coordinate sourcing as part of the commission.

What size Furoshiki do I need?

The ideal size depends on the dimensions and shape of the item. If you share approximate measurements and a photo, I will recommend a suitalbe cloths size and wrapping style.

Can you wrap unusual shapes or fragile items?

Often, yes. Furoshiki is versatile and can be adapted to many forms. For fragile items, I may suggest an internal box or protective layer to ensure the gift travels safely.

Do you travel to wrap on-site?

On-site wrapping can be arranged for events and corporate settings where suitable. Please share the venue address, access details, and the space available.

How far in advance should I book?

For best availability, especially for seasonal gifting and events, I recommend enquiring as early as possible. For small commissions, two to three weeks is helpful, but please ask even if your date is soon.

How should the recipient store the cloth?

I recommend folding the cloth neatly and storing it in a drawer when not in use. Many Japanese textiles are cared for in this way to help them stay in good condition for a long time.
